For digital resources, patron usage is everything
Community demand for language learning was steady across the district's fifteen branches, and Director of Adult Services Amy Rodda wanted a resource good enough to justify the investment. She chose Mango for its ease of use, and was struck by the number of languages and the volume of lessons being added to the catalog.
The community answered: patron usage rose 23% during 2019. That growth is what makes the resource worth its place in a tight programming budget. For a digital collection, being used is the whole argument.
