Pricing
Pricing for schools, districts, colleges, and libraries
Institutional pricing depends on how many learners you're covering and how you want access set up, so there's no list price to quote. Tell us the shape of it and we'll come back with real numbers.
Before you ask
What we'll need to know
None of this is required to send the form, but having it to hand means the first reply is a quote rather than a request for more detail.
Roughly how many learners
Enrolment, patron count or seats. A range is fine. Both tiers are sold at the building or district level rather than per classroom, so the number shapes which model applies.
How access should work
School-wide, by class, or by library card. This decides the rostering route as much as the price, and the two are quoted together.
Platform, curriculum, or both
The platform on its own, or a full curriculum running on it. A curriculum is a separate line item, and two of them come free with the advanced tier, worth knowing before you compare quotes.
Your funding route and timing
If you already know the program or cooperative contract you are buying through, and when your fiscal year closes, say so. Both change how the quote is written.
Why it's quoted
There's no list price, and that's deliberate
Institutional pricing turns on scale and on how you buy, and those vary more than they do for a consumer plan: a single building and a thirty-school district are the same product on very different terms, and a purchase made against a cooperative contract is written differently from one funded through a federal program. A list price would be wrong for almost everybody.
What we can say in advance: access is sold at the building or district level rather than per classroom, there are no per-user license caps, and Mango is an approved vendor on two purchasing-cooperative contracts, so a member district can buy against a contract that has already been competitively bid instead of running its own RFP.
After you send it
What happens next
- 1
A specialist for your sector picks it up
A district, a public library and a university ask different questions, so the request goes to someone who works with your kind of institution rather than into a general queue.
- 2
We price it the way you will actually buy
If you are buying against a purchasing-cooperative contract or through a funding program, the quote is built that way from the start, not converted afterwards, which is where fiscal-year deadlines get missed.
- 3
You get something you can take to approval
Most institutional purchases need a document somebody else signs off. Tell us what your process needs, whether that is a formal quote, standards documentation or security review answers, and it comes with the pricing.
