Sample answer: Горбачев ответил, что главным делом своей жизни он считает перестройку и все, что с ней связано. Он глубоко убежден, что перестройка была необходима и что они шли в правильном направлении.(Gorbachev replied that he considered perestroika and everything connected with it to be the main work of his life. He is deeply convinced that perestroika was necessary and that they were going in the right direction.)

Sample answer: Журналист поинтересовался у Горбачёва, хочет ли он что-то поменять в своей жизни или своих решениях.(The journalist asked Gorbachev if he wanted to change anything in his life or his decisions.)

Sample answer: Михаил Горбачев сказал, что принципиальные решения он принимал и в своей жизни, и в политике. Их он бы не менял.(Mikhail Gorbachev said that he had made fundamental decisions both in his life and in politics. He wouldn't change them.)
