Activity 1: Sentence tense check!

Look at each sentence and figure out what tense it is in. Compare each sentence to the sentences in the post or use the tense/aspect table to help you decide.

Note:
Some sentences can be used in more than one tense. Check any item that applies.
  • Patty reserved a plane ticket.

  • Patty thinks Barcelona is beautiful.

  • Patty is going to study Catalan.

  • Patty is planning a visit to Barcelona.

  • Patty saw some beautiful architecture.

  • Patty has been to Barcelona once.

  • Patty will get an earlier flight next time.

  • Patty loves Barcelona.
