Example: Maria wants to bring snacks.
Verbs that can be used before an infinitive verb with to:

Note: Recall that any verb can be used before an infinitive of purpose. Sometimes this may look like they are taking an infinitive as their object, but there is a difference in meaning:
We stopped to eat lunch.
→ We stopped. Why did we stop? to eat lunch. = Purpose InfinitiveWe pretended to eat lunch.
→ We pretended. What did we pretend? to eat lunch. = Object Infinitive
