One of the biggest reasons that many people want to learn another language is so that they can actually speak it! We’ve integrated a variety of interactive tools designed to accomplish just that.
Every Mango course, chapter, and lesson incorporates our Intuitive Language Construction methodology, plus native speaker audio to simulate the way people learn, and how locals actually communicate through day-to-day conversations.
How do Phonetic Pop-Ups help with pronunciation?

Bonus: Articulated speech offers a more clearly enunciated version of the word, which occurs when the Phonetic Pop-ups are activated by the learner upon tapping or clicking on the word.
The articulated speech feature allows learners the ability to dissect sounds and pick up on the differences in pronunciation of words spoken individually, versus hearing the word within a string of words (conversational speed)1. See Phonetic Pop-Ups in action.
Why don't we use IPA?
We’ve developed our learning system to help with pronunciation without any extra studying for the learner, which would be necessary if we used IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet), requiring a firm grasp of the symbols and their uses.
Instead, our Phonetic Pop-Ups use approximated phonetics, which are essentially phonetic transcriptions of each word and phrase, which allows the learner to understand target language from the perspective of their first language1.
At Mango, we like to keep it colloquial — and practical. But don’t just take our word for it — you can take on over 70 different world languages and experience what it’s like to speak like a local today!
