Mango Inglés Introduces New, Engaging, Affordable Language-Learning Option in Colombia

Leading American Language-Learning Platform Mango Languages partners with Mango Inglés to deliver Award-Winning Technology and Content to the Colombian Public

DETROIT (November 28, 2018) — Mango Languages, one of the top digital language-learning platforms in the United States, has announced it’s partnering with Mango Inglés to deliver language learning to Colombian communities, beginning with the city of Cali, where Mango Inglés is based.  

Due to the large, scalable demand for English-learning opportunities in the region, Mango Languages is exclusively offering its English for Spanish speakers course through Mango Inglés. Created by linguists and certified language instructors, the English for Spanish speakers course provides a unique approach to filling the gap between classroom instruction and free or low-cost language-learning applications.

The resources and learning environments currently available in Colombia struggle to offer the learner the necessary tools to function at a conversational level, while expensive, individual classes don’t always provide a supportive setting, and are only available during the 1–2 hours per day that the student is physically in class. Backed by powerful behind-the-scenes methodologies, the always-on, self-paced nature of the Mango app engages the learner so they can become conversational effectively, and at a realistic price point.

Mango Inglés expects to go live with a digital launch in November of this year. Shortly following, the company plans to open up a series of physical kiosks that provide product demonstrations and customer support, and accepts in-person payment. Credit card and bank-to-bank payment options are available on the website through PayU Latam. The Mango Inglés social media channels will open during the same time frame, hosting contests, competitions, and giveaways.

Mango Inglés wants to give everyone the opportunity to learn. Starting close to home in Cali, Colombia, Mango Inglés will be giving away a large number of free accounts during the holiday period to underserved youth and less affluent communities in the area. Mango Inglés also intends to announce several exciting business partnerships in the near future in the airline, cinema, and public transport sectors, which will assist in further expansion and brand awareness.
