“This is much better than other programs that I’ve seen by far.”
- Francis, Curriculum Coordinator and Former Spanish Teacher, Texas

An Innovative, Digital-First Approach
Fresco is a cutting-edge program that complements Mango’s award-winning language software with more opportunities for meaningful, real-world language learning. With structured lesson plans, authentic resources, and communicative and culturally-oriented activities that integrate the 5Cs, this curriculum supports students on their journey to language proficiency.
What Educators Are Saying
“It feels very teacher friendly as far as the lesson plans, the pacing guides all of that. When I was looking through the lessons, I understood what I would need to do to be ready to teach it tomorrow.”
Courtney, High School Spanish Teacher, New York
"This is such a time saver not having to go out and look for [authentic resources]. The thing that I'm most excited about is the authentic resources and the way they're utilized within the lessons."
Pedro, High School Spanish Teacher, California
"The holistic rubrics are awesome because not only do they help the teacher, but they help the students stay on track, and show them expectations for learning outcomes.”
Francis, Curriculum Coordinator and Former Spanish Teacher, Texas
A Comprehensive 4-Year Progression
Fresco follows a four-year structure, taking students from Novice Low to Intermediate High proficiency levels, and is suitable for middle school, high school, and college. Each level builds upon previous knowledge, integrating listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills while reinforcing cultural understanding and real-world applications.
“I've especially liked the high number of authentic resources. I've even used some of them myself! I put all those hours of work into finding these resources myself, because there wasn't anything like that before… So that's amazing!”
- Francis, Curriculum Coordinator and Former Spanish Teacher, Texas
